About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Principal Chief Technologist to join our esteemed Paul Odili College of Medicine within the Faculty of Laboratory Technical Sciences, located at our River Park Estate campus in Lugbe, Abuja (FCT).
Key Responsibilities- Support teaching, research, and practical laboratory activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance, laboratory safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Manage, maintain, and calibrate advanced laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Participate in clinical training, research mentorship, and other academic responsibilities assigned by the University.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the delivery of the laboratory curriculum.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant laboratory discipline from a recognized institution.
- Appropriate professional registration and a valid practising licence with the relevant regulatory body.
- Extensive post-qualification experience commensurate with the Principal Chief Technologist cadre.
- Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory safety standards, quality assurance, and equipment management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Evidence of relevant academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals, where applicable.
