We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences within the Paul Odili College of Medicine as a Lecturer II in Medical Biochemistry. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Medical Biochemistry in accordance with the university curriculum.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in clinical training, curriculum development, and academic administration.
- Provide mentorship, academic guidance, and career counseling to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences and Paul Odili College of Medicine on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Perform other academic and institutional service responsibilities as assigned by the University management.
- Possess an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate for the Lecturer II rank in Medical Biochemistry.
- Demonstrate documented teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the position.
- Provide verifiable evidence of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Maintain active registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid practising licence.
