About the Role
TAAS College, Ibadan, a prestigious co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition at KM 15, Abeokuta Road, Amunigun Village, Bode Igbo, Ibadan, is seeking a visionary and dynamic Principal to lead our secondary school. Since our inception in 2005, we have provided a serene, conducive learning environment equipped with modern facilities, fostering both academic excellence and strong moral values.
Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic, administrative, and spiritual leadership in line with the Islamic tradition of the institution.
- Oversee daily school operations, ensuring a safe, disciplined, and stimulating learning environment for students and staff.
- Manage curriculum implementation, monitoring teaching standards to ensure continuous improvement in academic performance.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, the Muslim Community, the governing council, and other key stakeholders.
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff to maintain high professional standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to child safeguarding policies and ethical standards across the college.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications in Education or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated prior experience in school leadership or administration, preferably as a Principal or Vice-Principal.
- Hold relevant professional certifications and teaching licences where applicable.
- Display utmost professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Show a deep passion for education, student welfare, and community development.
