About the Role
Meadowlands School, a premier co-educational Private Christian Institution spanning preschool through secondary education, is seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy French Language Teacher to join our vibrant academic community in Nigeria. Founded in June 2014 by Apostle Goodheart and Pastor Bimbo Ekwueme, our mission is to provide a balanced, comprehensive educational curriculum fostering the intellectual, spiritual, and social development of children aged 15 months to 18 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students to embrace the French language and culture while aligning with our core Christian values.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, curriculum-compliant French language lessons to preschool, primary, and/or secondary students.
- Create a stimulating, interactive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fluency in French.
- Build positive, functional relationships with children and teenagers to support their holistic development.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Integrate modern educational technology into daily lesson plans to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and administrators to uphold the school's high standard of academic excellence.
- Must hold a relevant degree in French Language, Education, or a related field of study.
- Must be comfortable teaching content relevant to the French language curriculum across various age groups.
- Must be an avid learner who is open to continuous personal and professional growth.
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with children and teens.
- Must be well-spoken, articulate, and tech-savvy with proficiency in digital learning tools.
- Previous teaching experience in a reputable school environment is an added advantage.
