Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, interactive, and inclusive lessons aligned with the primary school curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and supportive classroom environment that fosters positive learning behaviors.
  • Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, behavior, and social development regularly.
  • Provide constructive feedback and tailored support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare comprehensive termly report cards.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, school administration, and parents to support holistic student development.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, staff meetings, and continuous professional development workshops.
Qualifications
  • Possession of an NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed), or relevant degree in Education or a related discipline.
  • Proven teaching experience in a recognized primary school setting is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about child development, patient, and creative in teaching methodologies.
  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to Katsina State is required.
