About the Role
Rainbow Educational Services Limited (RESL), a leading education management company in Nigeria, is recruiting a passionate and skilled Primary School Music Teacher. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula, syllabi, and lesson plans aligned with educational standards
- Teach instrumental music including piano, guitar, and violin to students at various proficiency levels
- Instruct students in music theory, note reading, and scale development
- Prepare and train students for musical performances, concerts, and school events
- Assess student strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs to customize instruction accordingly
- Employ differentiated teaching strategies to support diverse learners and learning styles
- Maintain open communication with parents, students, and staff regarding academic progress
- Report performance concerns and achievements to the department head and relevant stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Music or related discipline
- Strong proficiency in musical instruments and comprehensive music theory knowledge
- Teaching certification or apprenticeship completion (advantageous)
- TRCN Certification (preferred)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Demonstrated patience, creativity, and innovation in teaching
- Familiarity with interactive teaching tools and contemporary 21st-century pedagogical methods
