Resurgir Consulting is partnering with a reputable primary school to find a passionate and experienced Primary School English Teacher in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the foundational language skills of young learners, ensuring they develop a lifelong love for reading, writing, and effective communication. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, interactive English lessons tailored to primary school pupils.
- Teach essential literacy components including reading, creative writing, grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary.
- Monitor, assess, and record pupils' academic progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Develop and utilize age-appropriate learning materials, visual aids, and assignments.
- Collaborate professionally with school management and communicate student progress effectively with parents.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in English Language, Education, or a related discipline.
- Impeccable spoken and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern classroom management techniques.
