About the Role
R-DATS Consulting is a premier research, evaluation, and data collection firm dedicated to generating high-quality evidence for policy decisions and social impact. We are currently expanding our field operations and looking for dedicated EGRA / EGMA Field Officers to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in gathering reliable educational data that shapes the future of learning for primary school students.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct strict, one-on-one EGRA and EGMA standardized assessments with sampled primary school students.
- Input assessment outcomes accurately into tablets using designated mobile data platforms.
- Synchronize and upload complete, clean, and geotagged digital records to the project server daily.
- Maintain safe custody, charging, and data maintenance of assigned tablet devices throughout the fieldwork duration.
- Minimum of an NCE, OND, or Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- At least 1 to 3 years of proven experience in field-level quantitative data collection or learning assessments.
- Demonstrated track record of conducting early-grade learning assessments such as EGRA, EGMA, ASER, or LearNigeria in Lagos or neighboring states.
- High level of comfort operating Android tablets for digital data collection.
- Prior experience teaching or working directly with primary school-aged children is strongly preferred.
