His Thoughts Academy, established in February 2013 from a passionate vision to nurture young minds, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Class Teacher to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture, and laying a strong foundational academic and moral base for our primary school pupils. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, interactive lessons aligned with the approved primary school curriculum.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and implement positive discipline strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to plan school events, extracurricular activities, and curriculum improvements.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare periodic report cards for students.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), NCE, or relevant academic qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Strong passion for child development and early childhood or primary education.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.
