About the Role
Nady Academy is a prestigious private co-educational institution located in the Gwiwa Lowcost Estate area of Sokoto, Nigeria, dedicated to providing comprehensive academic programs spanning nursery, primary, and secondary school education. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Primary Classroom Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality education, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal growth of our primary students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective daily lessons aligned with the primary school curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and implement positive discipline strategies.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to organize extracurricular activities and school events.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare periodic student report cards.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc., or equivalent teaching qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Professional certifications such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PDE) or Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) license are significant advantages.
- Previous teaching experience within a recognized primary school setting is highly preferred.
