About the Role
Regal Bablo Farms is looking for a dedicated and experienced Poultry Farm Manager to lead our poultry operations in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will direct daily farm activities, enhance poultry production efficiency, and implement strict biosecurity and animal welfare standards to drive our agricultural success.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee comprehensive poultry operations, including breeding, feeding, health management, and biosecurity protocols.
- Implement production strategies to optimize growth rates, maximize egg or meat output, and minimize operational waste.
- Lead, train, and supervise farm workers to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high productivity.
- Monitor animal health closely, ensuring timely vaccinations, disease control, and adherence to environmental standards.
- Manage operational budgets, analyze production data, and generate regular performance reports for senior management.
- Maintain feed mill operations and inventory, leveraging feed mill experience as a distinct advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Farm Management, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in poultry production, farm operations, and animal health management.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage diverse farm teams effectively.
- Proficiency in farm management software, data analysis tools, and modern agricultural practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of biosecurity standards, regulatory compliance, and waste management.
- Prior experience in a feed mill environment will be considered a strong plus.
