About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide payment, banking, credit, and business management tools designed to empower enterprises to succeed. We are currently seeking a dedicated POS Technician to join our growing team in Osun State, specifically based in Osogbo. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and repair of various Point of Sales devices within our distribution network to ensure seamless payment operations for our customers and agents.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the hardware department to manage the end-to-end repair process for all POS terminals.
- Provide reliable second-level technical support for hardware-related issues across Linux, Android, MPOS, and Kiosk devices.
- Manage and coordinate terminal repair centers efficiently across our operational network.
- Carry out expert technical repairs on PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise terminals.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as delegated and assigned by your line manager.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in a relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience in a similar POS technician or hardware support role.
- Demonstrated technical ability to repair PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise terminals.
- Prior experience within the Nigerian agency banking sector will be a strong added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer operations and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to take initiative and work effectively with limited supervision.
- Must currently reside in Osogbo, Osun State.
