About the Role
Moniepoint Inc. is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide payment, banking, credit, and business management tools designed to empower enterprises across the continent to succeed. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive POS Technician to join our dynamic hardware team in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end POS repair process while working closely with the hardware department.
- Provide advanced second-level technical support for hardware-related issues across Linux, Android, MPOS, and Kiosk terminals.
- Coordinate and manage Terminal Repair Centers efficiently throughout our operational network.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise terminals.
- Take on additional responsibilities and duties as delegated by the Line Manager.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND).
- At least 2 years of proven hands-on experience in a similar technical role.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in repairing PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise terminals.
- Prior experience within the agency banking sector is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer operations, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal abilities, and relationship-management skills.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to take initiative and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must currently reside in Lagos State.
