About the Role
ARM Hold Co., one of Nigeria's leading non-bank financial services firms, is seeking a talented and driven Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income to join our dynamic asset management team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping investment strategies, conducting rigorous market research, and optimizing fixed-income portfolios to deliver exceptional value to our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute actively to the development, formulation, and implementation of innovative investment strategies and action plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to investment mandates, client profiles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare comprehensive quarterly, half-yearly, and annual strategy reports, presentations, and period-end portfolio reviews.
- Conduct periodic portfolio appraisals, performance analyses, portfolio optimization, and benchmark evaluations.
- Perform detailed financial, product, and trading analyses while building robust valuation models.
- Execute trades efficiently, compile approved portfolio orders, and ensure accurate posting of transaction data.
- Assess investible markets and asset classes continually using top-down and bottom-up approaches to guide decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification in finance and/or accounting from a recognized professional body (e.g., CFA, ACA).
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of cognate work experience in a similar portfolio management or fixed-income role.
- Prior experience in Asset and Liability Management will be a distinct added advantage.
