About the Role
Platform Finance Limited is a newly established, CBN-approved financial institution dedicated to providing innovative loans, investment, and asset management services. We are currently looking for a motivated Finance Intern to support our finance department and help maintain our high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Process approved financial transactions efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
- Post receipts, payments, expenses, and general ledger transactions accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive accounting records and well-organized supporting documentation.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist the finance team with the preparation of accurate management accounts.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely cash flow management.
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
