We are currently seeking a dedicated and polished Porter to become the welcoming face of our establishment. In this vital role, you will ensure our guests receive a seamless, warm, and efficient experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities- Greet arriving and departing guests warmly, handling luggage securely and efficiently within a 3-minute window.
- Provide confident, accurate local recommendations, directions, and landmark knowledge of Abuja.
- Maintain the lobby and hotel entrance in a spotless, orderly, and welcoming condition at all times.
- Assist the concierge team with reservations, guest inquiries, and light administrative errands.
- Collaborate seamlessly with front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance departments to resolve guest requests promptly.
- Proven experience in front-of-house service, hospitality, or guest luggage handling.
- Expert local knowledge of Abuja city geography, top business hubs, and key landmarks.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills in fluent English, with proficiency in Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo as a strong advantage.
- Strong conflict resolution and complaint-handling capabilities with a customer-first mindset.
- Physical fitness and stamina required for active shift work and heavy lifting.
- Immaculate personal grooming and strict adherence to professional uniform standards.
- Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) or two-way radio communication is a plus.
