About the Role
Ebekendy Hotel & Suites is a modern and prestigious accommodation located in the heart of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. We are currently seeking a dedicated, energetic, and customer-oriented Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience at our property situated off Tombia Extension, GRA Phase 2.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure with professional etiquette.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, transportation, and safe delivery to and from their rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and surrounding public areas.
- Provide reliable information regarding hotel amenities, room features, and local attractions in Port Harcourt.
- Run errands for the front desk and assist other hotel departments as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints promptly with a positive attitude.
- Must possess relevant academic qualifications and a proven track record in customer service or hospitality.
- Must reside in or within close proximity to GRA, Port Harcourt for easy commuting.
- Demonstrate excellent physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy luggage.
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
