Wertvoll Consulting Services is recruiting a competent and committed Porter on behalf of our esteemed client, South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites, located in Calabar, Cross River State. We are looking for a passionate individual who is ready to deliver exceptional hospitality service, ensure smooth guest transitions, and maintain the highest standards of hospitality excellence in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet hotel guests warmly upon arrival and departure with exceptional customer service.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, transport, and safe delivery to their respective rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Provide reliable information to guests regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and run errands as directed by the front desk management.
- Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks and luggage room inventory management as required.
- Must possess a relevant SSCE, OND, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous proven experience working as a porter, bellhop, or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage.
- Demonstrated passion for customer service with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to maintaining professional hotel standards.
