About the Role
South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites in Calabar, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is currently recruiting a competent and committed Cleaner and General Support Staff. We are looking for a reliable, passionate individual ready to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and operational support to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Provide general support to various hotel departments as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the management.
- Deliver warm, polite, and professional service to all hotel guests and visitors.
- Proven experience working as a cleaner, housekeeper, or general support staff in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Open to applicants residing in Calabar as well as candidates from outside Calabar willing to relocate.
