We are currently seeking a reliable, customer-oriented, and physically fit individual to join our dedicated team as a Porter. Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome all guests warmly upon arrival and departure with professional etiquette.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, safe transportation to and from rooms, and vehicle loading or unloading.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, hallways, and surrounding public areas.
- Provide guests with accurate information about hotel amenities, room features, and local attractions in Nnewi.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, errands, and inquiries.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items immediately to hotel management.
- Assist other hotel departments, including housekeeping and front desk, as required during peak operational hours.
- Possession of an OND or HND in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Prior working experience in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to handle luggage and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to multitask, work flexible hours, and remain calm under pressure.
- Good knowledge of Uruagu, Nnewi, and surrounding areas in Anambra State.
