About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a professional and dependable Pool Driver to join our dynamic team in Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe, efficient transportation for personnel, clients, and event production equipment while maintaining high standards of vehicle care and compliance with Nigerian traffic laws.
Key Responsibilities- Transport employees, management, clients, and technical staff securely to offices, project sites, and event venues across Lagos.
- Assist with loading, securing, and transporting audio-visual, lighting, and staging equipment safely.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical faults promptly for timely maintenance.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, optimal roadworthiness, and ensure all official vehicle documentation remains valid.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, safety guidelines, and company driving policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs tracking mileage, fuel consumption, specific trip details, and maintenance schedules.
- Communicate traffic delays, incidents, or schedule adjustments proactively to management.
- Minimum of O'Level (SSCE) or equivalent educational qualification.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license with a proven clean driving record.
- 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, with corporate, logistics, or event industry background as an added advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos roads, prominent traffic patterns, and efficient alternative routes.
- Good verbal communication skills in English and physical fitness to assist with occasional equipment handling.
