About the Role
Lock & Sum is a premier business architecture and operational excellence consulting firm specializing in structured growth and process mapping for SMEs. We are currently looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Food Truck Operator to drive our mobile culinary operations and support our growing food venture in Nigeria. In this role, you will be the face of our brand on the streets, responsible for food preparation, inventory management, and maintaining high hygiene standards while delivering a delightful experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the food truck, including opening, closing, and cash handling.
- Prepare, cook, and assemble food items in accordance with standard recipes and strict food safety regulations.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service during peak operational hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the food truck, ensuring compliance with health codes.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock usage, and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Perform routine checks on food truck equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Drive and park the food truck safely to designated locations adhering to local traffic and parking laws.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or relevant culinary certification.
- Proven working experience as a food truck operator, cook, or in a similar customer-facing food service role.
- Valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record and experience driving larger commercial or utility vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP certification is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long hours, and lift moderately heavy items.
