About the Role
YellowDoor Hotels is a premier boutique hotel chain located in Abuja, Nigeria, offering upscale accommodations and exceptional hospitality for discerning business and leisure travelers. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Pool Attendant to join our dynamic facility management team. In this role, you will take full ownership of our signature pool area, ensuring it remains pristine, safe, and inviting for every guest. Key Responsibilities- Maintain optimal pool water quality through daily chemical treatments, testing, and accurate log completion.
- Clean the pool and surrounding deck areas thoroughly, removing debris before guests arrive for each shift.
- Inspect poolside furniture, umbrellas, and amenities, arranging them neatly to meet hotel quality standards.
- Monitor the pool environment continuously throughout your shift to identify and address safety hazards immediately.
- Assist guests with poolside requests, towel distribution, and general inquiries with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Execute opening and closing procedures diligently, ensuring all equipment is stored securely and correctly.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in pool cleaning, chemical treatment, and general maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of water quality monitoring, chemical balance, and safety hazard identification.
- Exceptional guest-facing service skills with a commitment to high hospitality standards.
- Proven ability to complete maintenance logs, compliance documentation, and equipment inspections accurately.
- Lifesaving or professional pool safety certification is strongly preferred.
