About the Role
Eclat HR Consulting is a progressive human resource management firm headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, providing comprehensive HR solutions and professional staffing services across various sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing / Fuel Piping Technician to join our clients on-site operations. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-standard fuel pipework installations, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations, and delivering operational excellence across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise or execute fuel pipework interface to the dispensing island and connect product lines and vapour recovery systems in accordance with approved drawings.
- Install, route, align, joint, and fit fuel and related pipework while performing pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, and inspection.
- Identify and rectify leaks, faulty connections, alignment issues, and other piping defects promptly.
- Coordinate with the station MEP contractor to ensure proper integration of fuel piping with other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Interpret technical drawings, piping layouts, specifications, and installation plans to support testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Report technical challenges, defects, material requirements, and safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Site Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records, update as-built information, and ensure proper maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- OND, Technical Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, Pipe Fitting, or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in piping, plumbing, pipe fitting, or industrial fluid systems.
- Demonstrated practical experience in fuel piping, petroleum product lines, and vapour recovery systems.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, piping layouts, and specifications.
- Strong competencies in pressure testing, mechanical troubleshooting, and MEP contractor coordination.
- Competitive monthly salary of N350,000.
