About the Role
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, a multinational leader in consumer goods and electricals, is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Electrical Boiler Technician. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation of our plant's electrical infrastructure, power generators, substations, and utility equipment. Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and prompt repairs on gas generators, diesel generators, air compressors, and boilers.
- Maintain substation transformers and service tripping units to guarantee uninterrupted DC power supply for operational relays.
- Monitor, repair, and replace energy meters across all substations while ensuring safe working environments.
- Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for all circuit breakers and distribution equipment.
- Maintain fire hydrant equipment and ensure pumps are fully operational at all times.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly energy, KPI, and generator status reports for management.
- Manage spare parts inventory and actively participate in facility audit checklists.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or plant engineering environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities coupled with excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
