As we continue to expand our impact in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry, we are seeking a dedicated and analytical Plant Performance Analyst to join our esteemed technical team and contribute to our core mission of reliable power generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily plant operations and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex performance data from generating units and major auxiliary equipment.
  • Identify performance gaps, abnormal operating trends, and efficiency losses, escalating findings for immediate corrective action.
  • Assist in conducting rigorous performance tests and prepare comprehensive technical reports for management review.
  • Support performance engineers in troubleshooting plant issues, developing dashboards, and implementing effective improvement measures.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure plant-wide generation targets are consistently achieved.
  • Ensure strict compliance with data protection policies, the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), and other statutory regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • COREN certification will be a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of cognate experience in steam power plant operations, with at least 2 years in a comparable performance analysis role.
  • Deep technical knowledge of steam turbine power plants, boilers, heat exchangers, and associated generation components.
  • Strong proficiency in calculating power plant indices, assessing machine performance characteristics, and understanding power plant chemistry.
