We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead our feedmill operations in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record in optimizing feedmill facilities to support our expanding agricultural ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily feedmill operations to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and output targets are consistently met.
- Manage the entire production lifecycle, maintaining strict quality control standards for all animal feed formulations.
- Supervise logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management to guarantee seamless inventory control and raw material availability.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate plant staff, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot feed production equipment, coordinating proactive maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory standards, environmental policies, and company health and safety guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in feedmill management and production.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern feed production processes, milling equipment, and stringent quality control protocols.
- Demonstrated expertise in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management within an agro-industrial environment.
