About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a leader in the Nigerian manufacturing sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Maintenance Manager - Electrical for Golden Penny Power Limited. In this critical role, you will schedule and communicate plant electrical activities, allocate resources, and ensure asset reliability to continuously improve overall power plant performance in strict adherence to legal and statutory maintenance regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement world-class maintenance management strategies for all plant electrical activities.
- Actively participate in the organization and scheduling of annual overhauls for power plant assets and facilities.
- Ensure comprehensive maintenance plans and task lists are created, updated, documented, and coordinated seamlessly with production teams.
- Manage the life cycle of physical assets and support technical stores management by linking planned maintenance with required spare parts in advance.
- Deploy appropriate predictive maintenance tools to guarantee continuous power plant machinery availability.
- Improve operational efficiencies by increasing preventative maintenance, minimizing breakdowns, and reducing the mean time between failures.
- BSc or HND in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of five years of cognate experience in a manufacturing or power plant environment.
- Detailed hands-on knowledge of plant operations and experience with 11KV switchgear and protection systems.
- COREN membership is an added advantage.
