About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of technical staffing, inspection, and training services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated HSE Audits & Training Engineer to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will champion our commitment to excellence, ensuring that all operations adhere to the highest global health, safety, and environmental standards while supporting major engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the preparation, execution, and monitoring of mandatory HSE training budgets and review contractor invoices.
- Maintain training plans, coordinate logistics, and track staff achievements utilizing company databases like Lizzy and HSEPass.
- Manage procurement activities including purchase requisitions and service entry sheets using UNISUP SAP and ARIBA.
- Conduct HSE evaluations, onsite inspections, and participate in medium- and high-risk contract tender committees (CFTs).
- Prepare sites for external HSE audits such as OPERSAFE and MAESTRO, and ensure timely closure of audit action items in Synergi.
- Compile daily and weekly HSE reports and contribute to business review meetings.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering or the Sciences.
- At least 5 years of hands-on HSE experience with operational exposure in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in office tools, database management, and HSE software such as Synergi.
- Strong understanding of statutory regulations and company HSEQ standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, auditing, and reporting skills.
