About the Role

Terra Energy Services Nigeria Ltd (TES) is a leading indigenous engineering and oil and gas service company committed to operational excellence. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Planner / Activity Planner to join our dynamic team in Lagos or Port-Harcourt. In this upstream oil and gas role, you will play a vital part in coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on complex project and operational activities to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated activity, project, and operational schedules using advanced planning tools.
  • Coordinate planning inputs seamlessly across Wells, Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, Contracts and Procurement, and technical teams.
  • Track critical path activities, major milestones, look-ahead plans, constraints, and schedule variances to prevent delays.
  • Facilitate planning meetings, schedule reviews, readiness assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination sessions.
  • Maintain comprehensive action, risk, interface, and constraint registers while ensuring timely follow-up actions.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports, dynamic dashboards, schedule forecasts, and executive management updates.
  • Analyze schedule performance thoroughly and recommend effective recovery actions whenever necessary.
  • Support resource loading, shutdown and maintenance planning, and complex multidisciplinary interface management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant professional experience within the oil and gas industry, featuring strong upstream E&P exposure.
  • Proven expertise in project planning, activity scheduling, progress monitoring, and advanced reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in industry-standard software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as PMP or PMI-SP are highly desirable.
