We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our dedicated team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the operational integrity, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facility, ensuring our daily operations run smoothly without interruption.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and facility infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential hazards, wear and tear, or areas requiring repair.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and major facility upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inventory of spare parts, and equipment service histories.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all operational areas.
- Minimum of a Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Trade Test certification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in facility maintenance, repairs, or property management, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize urgent tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
