About the Role
Scruples Resources, a premier provider of consultancy and human resource solutions for the Nigerian economy, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Piping Quality Control Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will champion quality excellence, ensuring all piping engineering and construction activities strictly adhere to international standards and project specifications within the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Project Quality Manager in developing and implementing comprehensive Project Quality Control Plans and procedures.
- Coordinate QC Supervisors and assigned quality personnel across multiple project areas.
- Review Quality Control Plans and Inspection and Test Plans while verifying their proper implementation.
- Ensure all inspections, tests, and controls are performed strictly in accordance with approved project procedures.
- Verify proper receipt, storage, identification, traceability, and preservation of all project materials and equipment.
- Monitor contractor compliance with established QC requirements and rigorous inspection processes.
- Support Non-Conformance Report management and the effective implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure QC records, inspection reports, test documentation, and mechanical completion records are properly maintained and fully traceable.
- Support Client and third-party quality interfaces and provide expert QC guidance to site personnel.
- Collect and analyze project QC data while supporting quality management reviews and the preparation of the final project quality dossier.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in quality control within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Extensive expertise in Project Quality Control, technical inspections, testing, ITPs, and quality documentation.
- Thorough knowledge of Non-Conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
