About the Role
Cedarcrest Hospitals is a leading modern specialist medical care centre located in the heart of Abuja, Nigeria. Established to provide international standards of healthcare locally, we have expanded from our orthopaedic roots into a comprehensive multi-specialty facility. We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals and help patients regain mobility, manage pain, and achieve optimal physical recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, evaluate, and diagnose patients' physical conditions and functional limitations
- Develop and implement personalized physiotherapy treatment plans and rehabilitation programs
- Administer various physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery
- Collaborate closely with orthopaedic surgeons, neurologists, and other medical specialists
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, home exercises, and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation and patient records
- Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (BMR), degree in Physiotherapy, or equivalent qualification
- Current valid practicing license from the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTB)
- Proven clinical experience working as a physiotherapist in a reputable hospital or clinic
- Strong understanding of orthopaedic, trauma, and post-surgical rehabilitation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient-management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
