Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and structured Physics lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to improve academic performance.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters active student participation and curiosity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a positive attitude toward discipline and learning.
- Prepare students for internal examinations as well as relevant external regional and national assessments.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and developmental milestones.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Education (Physics), or a related scientific discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience at the secondary or college level.
- Deep understanding of physics principles, laboratory safety protocols, and modern pedagogical techniques.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Must reside in Ibadan or be willing to relocate.
- Possession of a teaching certification or registration with relevant educational bodies is an added advantage.
