Dabitos Schools is a reputable private, co-educational learning institution located in Ilasamaja, Mushin, Lagos, Nigeria, offering comprehensive education from crèche through secondary school levels. We are currently seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and result-oriented Physics Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators and contribute to our tradition of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive Physics lessons in accordance with the Nigerian and British secondary school curricula.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and schemes of work to facilitate active learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive, and conducive learning environment for all students.
- Supervise and guide students during practical laboratory experiments, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols.
- Prepare students adequately for internal examinations as well as external assessments such as WAEC, NECO, and Jamb.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, school events, and professional development programs.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), or related degree in Physics or Physics Education.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting.
- Strong command of the subject matter with the ability to simplify complex physical concepts for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
