About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in English Language and English Literature in accordance with approved curricula.
- Prepare students thoroughly for key external examinations using prescribed textbooks and standard curriculum guidelines.
- Conduct regular grading, constructive marking, and personalized mentoring to track and improve student academic progress.
- Maintain comprehensive records of student performance and attendance.
- Perform all general teaching and administrative duties as assigned by the school management.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in English Language, English Literature, or a related field; a Postgraduate Diploma in Education is an added advantage.
- Proven experience teaching English Language and Literature at the nursery, primary, or secondary school level.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian educational curriculum and external examination requirements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
