About the Role

As our Physics Teacher, you will inspire and educate students across secondary levels, fostering critical thinking and practical scientific understanding through innovative teaching methodologies and hands-on laboratory experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging physics lessons aligned with both Nigerian and British curriculum standards
  • Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans with measurable learning outcomes
  • Conduct practical laboratory sessions and demonstrations to enhance student understanding
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment with excellent discipline and management
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and professional development initiatives
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and progress

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with PGDE in Physics, or HND equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of secondary school teaching experience
  • Valid TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification (highly advantageous)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities
  • Proficiency in both Nigerian and British curriculum frameworks preferred
