Premiere Academy, a premier coeducational boarding secondary school in Lugbe, Abuja, is recruiting a dedicated Physics Teacher to join our vibrant academic community. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with school curriculum standards
- Teach Physics concepts using practical demonstrations, laboratory experiments, and diverse instructional resources
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, and assessment tools
- Conduct and supervise practical Physics experiments while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for academic improvement
- Prepare students effectively for WAEC, NECO, GCE, and international examinations
- Maintain accurate academic records and attendance documentation
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes
- Manage classroom effectively while promoting a positive, supportive learning environment
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school community activities
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./B.Ed.) in Physics, Applied Physics, or Physics Education
- Minimum 5 years' secondary school teaching experience in a reputable institution
- Strong command of Nigerian secondary school Physics curriculum
- Proven experience preparing students for WAEC, NECO, or IGCSE examinations
- Excellent practical laboratory skills and safety expertise
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with technology and digital learning platforms
- Professional teaching qualification (TRCN, PGDE) is advantageous
