About the Role
Victrius Academy is a newly established, forward-thinking educational institution located in the vibrant Hajj Camp area of Gwagwalada, Abuja. We are dedicated to delivering academic excellence and fostering holistic development for every student. As we expand our dynamic Science Department, we are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Physics Teacher to inspire our students and cultivate a deep appreciation for the physical sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and interactive Physics lessons to secondary school students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Develop robust lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Supervise and conduct practical laboratory experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts and ensure student safety.
- Assess, track, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners, parents, and school management.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that is conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Minimum qualification includes a B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, PGDE, NCE, HND, or ND in Physics or relevant subject areas.
- Proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting is a distinct advantage.
- Deep subject matter expertise and a genuine passion for teaching adolescents.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate digital tools into everyday classroom teaching.
- Must reside within Gwagwalada or its immediate environs in Abuja.
