Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and well-structured Physics lessons to senior secondary students following the approved curriculum.
  • Design and conduct practical laboratory experiments to enhance students' theoretical understanding and scientific inquiry skills.
  • Assess, evaluate, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement and success.
  • Prepare students effectively for internal examinations as well as major external assessments like WAEC, NECO, and UTME.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with fellow department members to develop innovative teaching materials and participate in extracurricular academic activities.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Education (Physics), or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Proven teaching experience within a reputable secondary school environment, preferably handling senior classes.
  • Deep and comprehensive knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school Physics curriculum and modern pedagogical methods.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Strong commitment to upholding high ethical standards and fostering holistic student development.
