About the Role
Cutting-Edge International Academy, a premier private educational institution located in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical and Health Education (PHE) Teacher. In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting student fitness, health literacy, and overall academic achievement while upholding our high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive lesson notes and schemes of work prior to every class.
- Deliver engaging, student-centred PHE lessons that encourage active participation.
- Administer, mark, and record continuous assessment (CA) scores within stipulated deadlines.
- Identify struggling learners and provide targeted academic and physical support.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and disciplined classroom and sporting environment.
- Participate actively in staff meetings and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training sessions.
- Submit lesson notes weekly to the Head of Department (HOD) for review.
- Support extracurricular clubs, sports events, and broader school programmes.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc, or B.A with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven subject mastery and demonstrable classroom teaching experience.
- Mandatory possession of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification or a strong willingness to register upon employment.
