Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive phonics and early literacy lessons tailored to young learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and implement effective intervention strategies for struggling readers.
- Create a stimulating, print-rich classroom environment that encourages participation and a love for reading.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to develop comprehensive literacy curricula.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their children's reading development and classroom progress.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Education, English Language, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience, specifically in phonics instruction and early childhood education.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching young children.
- Ability to utilize modern teaching aids and interactive learning techniques.
- Certification in specialized phonics programs (such as Jolly Phonics) will be an added advantage.
