We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) to support daily pharmacy operations by accurately entering prescription and patient information into our systems. The ideal candidate will combine healthcare knowledge with exceptional administrative efficiency to ensure seamless pharmacy workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately input prescription details and patient information into the pharmacy management system.
- Review incoming prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Maintain, update, and secure patient records while strictly adhering to data privacy standards.
- Assist licensed pharmacists with various administrative and operational tasks.
- Process medication orders and manage insurance information where applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and organization of all pharmacy records.
- Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and patients for prescription clarification.
- Support inventory tracking and stock documentation processes.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc qualification in a related field.
- Valid certification or formal training as a Pharmacy Technician is mandatory.
- Previous experience in pharmacy data entry or a similar healthcare administrative role.
- Strong typing speed and exceptional computer literacy skills.
- High level of attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems will be an added advantage.
