Key Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care under the supervision of licensed senior pharmacists.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical audits, and multidisciplinary healthcare team meetings to optimize patient medication therapy.
- Counsel patients on proper drug usage, potential side effects, and adherence to therapeutic regimens.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, monitor drug expiration dates, and ensure proper storage conditions in the pharmacy department.
- Assist in the compounding of specialized medications and sterile preparations as required by hospital standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medication records in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Possess a recognized Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree or equivalent from a reputable university in Nigeria or abroad.
- Must possess provisional registration or the appropriate practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills with a genuine passion for patient-centered care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment and manage multiple clinical tasks efficiently.
