About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services across Nigeria. Through our CDC/PEPFAR-supported BRIDGE and LOCATE projects, we deliver comprehensive HIV prevention, care, and treatment programs. We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to join our team as a Pharmacy Associate in Imo State to provide vital technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and health commodity supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities- Support facility-level pharmacy and commodity logistics activities under the Enhanced Site Mechanism (ESM).
- Assist in monitoring stock levels, expiry dates, and optimal storage conditions of health commodities at the facility level.
- Support accurate recording and reporting of commodity data using approved logistics management tools.
- Assist in the distribution and redistribution of commodities to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.
- Support facility staff in maintaining proper inventory and dispensing records.
- Participate in routine stock counts and support comprehensive commodity supply chain reporting.
- Report commodity gaps, discrepancies, or risks promptly to the Technical Officer Pharmacy.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platforms.
- A first degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- At least three (3) years of proven experience in pharmacy practice or health commodity logistics support, preferably at the facility level.
- Basic knowledge of health commodity management and public health supply chain logistics systems.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and precise documentation skills.
- Willingness to work effectively at assigned health facility sites within Imo State.
