About the Role

Operating multiple manufacturing facilities with over 150 registered products across diverse therapeutic areas, we are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pharmacovigilance Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will safeguard public health by meticulously monitoring drug safety and ensuring absolute compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Record and report adverse drug reactions received from healthcare professionals, patients, and company representatives.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with patients and medical practitioners to gather comprehensive safety data.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of pharmacovigilance reports in strict adherence to NAFDAC requirements.
- Flag early warning signs of adverse drug effects and maintain robust safety databases.
- Establish, review, and optimize pharmacovigilance processes, documentation, and internal training programs.
- Liaise effectively with healthcare stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to ongoing pharmaceutical research.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
- Successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Solid understanding of pharmacovigilance principles, adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting, and drug safety monitoring.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
