Key Responsibilities- Helping people understand their health condition(s) and develop strategies to improve their health and overall well-being.
- Helping to build understanding and social capital to support healthier behaviors and lifestyle choices within the community.
- Delivering vital health information using culturally appropriate terms, concepts, and communication strategies.
- Linking individuals and families directly to necessary healthcare systems and social service resources.
- Providing informal counseling, continuous support, and proactive follow-up care as needed with patients.
- Interested candidates should possess an HND, NCE, or OND in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with people from diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Solid understanding of the Nigerian healthcare system and practical knowledge of how to help patients navigate available resources.
