In this role, you will be a vital practitioner pharmacist delivering comprehensive dispensing and clinical pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, effective, and lawful use of medicines to support optimal patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications accurately and provide expert clinical pharmacy input to patient care.
  • Support the procurement, storage, stock control, and distribution of pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Handle and document controlled medicines in strict compliance with PCN and national regulations.
  • Contribute to formulary management, medicines information services, and pharmacovigilance.
  • Participate in quality assurance audits, clinical governance, and continuing professional development activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-registration and post-internship experience in a hospital or clinical setting (newly registered practitioners may be considered).
  • Valid practicing license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice, medicines safety, and inventory control.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clinical colleagues.
