About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Deputy Pharmacist to join our team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and regulatory compliance of our pharmaceutical distribution center operations, ensuring adherence to strict health, safety, and environmental standards while supporting seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the registration, renewal, and maintenance of annual premises licenses for the pharmaceutical warehouse.
- Ensure staff compliance with Good Warehousing Practice (GWP), Good Storage Practice (GSP), and client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor cold chain storage, temperature ranges, and 100% accuracy in batch and shelf-life management.
- Manage controlled drugs, poison book entries, and the secure handling of NAFDAC hold products, as well as damaged or expired goods.
- Lead internal, client, and regulatory audits while conducting scheduled self-inspections and resolving quality complaints within 24 hours.
- Perform root cause analysis for deviations and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
- Coordinate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities, safety training, and scheduled fire drills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in supply chain quality management systems within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory agencies such as the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and NAFDAC.
- Demonstrated expertise in cold chain storage management and HSE protocols.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP.
