About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a leading household name in the Nigerian healthcare industry known for trusted brands like Vitaclox and Vitamox, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Ikeja, Lagos. Key Responsibilities- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and regulatory standards across all operations.
- Supervise manufacturing processes and conduct thorough reviews and approvals of batch manufacturing and packaging records.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control activities, including investigating deviations and managing product stability monitoring.
- Participate in internal and external audits while implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product registration, regulatory submissions, and commercialization activities.
- Investigate customer complaints and product defects promptly to maintain market trust and consumer safety.
- Provide technical guidance and training to production and quality personnel regarding industry best practices.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid practicing license and registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, or regulatory affairs is highly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GMP, GDP, GLP, and pharmaceutical quality management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
